Squat Jump

Stand with feet shoulder width apart and lower yourself into a squat whilst raising your arms straight out in front of you.

Push down through your heels and drive your hips forward to jump as high as you can, dropping your arms to your sides to keep a straight back in the air. A you land bend the knees to avoid jarring your back and lower into another squat. You should land on your toes and shift your weight onto your heels as you go down into the squat. Breathe out as you jump, and in as you land.Back to top of page

Jump Lunge

Step forward into a lunge.

Now jump upwards as high as you can and swap your leg positions so that you land in the opposite lunge position. Keep the core muscles tight throughout the exercise. Breathe out as you jump and in as you land.
