I first called on Pete’s help when I was training for the 2008 London Marathon and I was in desperate need of help. Due to working long hours away and having a demanding family I was struggling to fit in the vital weekend long runs that are required.
Not only did Pete draw up a plan of runs ranging from 3am-7am on a Sunday morning, he actually got up and joined me on them to ensure that I was running at the required pace and getting the right nutritional balance on the run!
Two years on and now running Ultra Marathons I am still leaning heavily on Pete for his knowledge of running, nutrition and core training, he was the first person that I turned to for assistance on entering the 103 mile South Downs Way Race in September 2010.
